Time for a bottle of the good stuff and a team meeting. Both of you sit down (without the influence of family and barring their opinions creeping into your brain- don’t let other people spend your wedding money) and have an earnest conversation about the most important aspects of the day to each of you. Narrow it down and make sure you’re on the same page about where the money is going to go. Keep in mind that you will be spending a lot of your budget to feed your guests (which may mean cutting your guest list and telling your parents they can’t invite people you don’t know) and on your venue
Once you have your list of what's important, you will be able to assign approximate percentages from top to bottom of how much of the budget you’re allotting each category. You can expect a combined 50% to go to the food and venue. You will also be able to refer back to what you wrote when it comes time to make choices or when you’re feeling like you’ve lost sight of what you want. Brain-storm your favorite places if you don’t want to spend money on a traditional wedding venue. Having a wedding in the great outdoors often times only requires a permit. Reception ideas could be anything from backyards to your favorite bar or restaurant to somewhere super unique to you.
Spend your money in the ways that are most important to you.
''She makes you feel so special and takes the time to get to know you! She is mad talented! Her photos and editing are so amazing! Danelle even took the time to make us a special slideshow of our photos from our wedding day! She is the sweetest! If you are looking for someone who honestly goes above and beyond for her clients then Danelle is your girl! I honestly believe anyone would be lucky to have her capture any special occasion, and we were so blessed to have her capture ours. Thank you Danelle from the bottom of our hearts because of you we have so many great memories to look back on! We are forever grateful for you💕''
"Danelle is fantastic. Real, organized and easy to work with. Also super fun! Love her artistic nature photography of capturing people in their day to day moments. Can't wait to work with her again."
''I met Danelle through a recommendation and have now worked with her on many different occasions. Every photo that I’ve received from her has a unique beauty to it that I can’t even describe! She is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure she gets the perfect photos. I highly recommend her and I know you won’t be disappointed.''
This all depends on you! Logistically we should meet up at least once before your wedding. This could be at an engagement session or a sit down and plan meeting. It's up to you and your needs.
You will have a couple sneak peak images with in 48hrs of your wedding day. Full gallery delivered in an average of 4-8 weeks, it really depends on how busy I get. But I will keep you in the loop so you aren't left guessing!
I am your person. That's what you really need to know. Talk to me!
I will listen, commiserate, laugh, hug, joke, have a WE DID IT drink with you. I WANT TO WALK WITH YOU THE ENTIRE WAY. Vendor recommendations? Your tense family dynamic? How to add pizza to your wedding? You will find that I am here to for ALL. THE. THINGS. Text/ call/ email/ send a carrier pigeon anytime
I love good people and a good engagement. I am there to help you every step of the way and I promise it is fun and less nerve racking as you mite think. It is a nice test run to see what it is like to work with me and know what to expect on your wedding day. After the session if you would like to book your wedding with me the $425 will be added to your retainer fee to book your wedding day and subtracted off the cost of the total wedding package.
Shoot me an email back, let me know a couple dates and times that work for you to meet in person or over talk on the phone. I'd love to hear what you got cooking for your wedding! Any ideas or wishes for your day.
Then after we get all the good feelings for each other, I can send you over a contract + invoice for a retainer fee to book your wedding day. Then you are Mine! I'm in your corner every step of the way.
Posing (without letting you look ‘posed’) is something that I’m super passionate about! I also find ways to capture your own unique personalities.
Absolutely! Topping my wish list right now is a summer wedding in Waterton, a sandy elopement at Burning Man or Iceland!
I am completely comfortable and happy shooting solo for weddings that are around 150 guests and smaller but no matter what, the option to add my second shooter is always there!
I typically deliver around 80 to 100 individually edited images per hour of coverage but every wedding and session is different. It is my goal to capture your day fully and authentically, leaving nothing important out!
I do a $500 retainer to hold the date and a signed contract. The remaining balance is due the week of your wedding or the week before your session.
Typically I book weddings 12-18 months in advance, but please contact me at any time to check my availability! Other session typically 2-4 weeks in advance.
